Hello,

I am only interested in the Landing Module (ЛК) at this time, but I have a friend who is equally interested in the Orbital Spacecraft (LOK)!

And I bet I know who "Стартовик" is. He tends to use the Zenit carrier rocket as his Avatar. I suspect he is the gentleman who presented me with a list of measurements of one of the remaining ЛК. If it is the same person, he also goes by Vovan! Although that is not his real name.

And if it is the same man, he has assisted me in the past more than any other single person! And he is both appreciated, and respected!:)

But, whether or not it is this man, I will ask the same questions. For reference I will post this familiar illustration:



Number 14 shows Chemical Batteries on the Lower portion (ЛПУ), as well as the upper portion (ЛПА). I have only seen rough illustrations of these batteries. Were they ever really produced? If so, does anybody know where I can find a photo or illustration of the actual batteries?

Also, I have seen the place for installment of the batteries on the LPU, but have never seen support (or frame) to hold the two batteries in the LPA. Were there going to be two extra batteries here? In Filins book, Воспоминания о Лунном корабле if I am translating it correctly, it seems that the position of the two upper batteries could be adjusted to balance the LK. Is this true?

Wikipedia makes it sound like the Lunar Module is part of the Fourth Stage (Block D), but, really, the Lunar Module contained the Block E, which would be the Fifth Stage! Wikipedia is only as good as the entries which are posted in it.

There are many parts I have revised on the English Wikipedia

This first photo has made me wonder. At the very top, just to the right of the center is (what looks like) a line from the cooling system. What is curious is that this line does not appear in this position in any other LK. Interesting!

True, but this Model is a model;). But unlike a small plastic model, this will be a larger model made to look like the real thing, but 1/5 of the size.

All display panels will light up, and any part that is movable in the real LK will be movable in this model. Part of it will be removable, so that you can see inside the cabin, and the engine block, and fuel tanks, and so forth! This is important because this will be an educational display!

Unfortunately all of the cables and wiring are missing (I will have to figure this out), but how do these work? Are they part of the "Planeta" system?

I must run for a couple of hours, but will be back shortly to see the progress!

К сожалению, все кабели и проводка отсутствуют (я  это понял), но как они работают? Они отделяются системы "Planeta"?
Я должен бежать в течение нескольких часов, но скоро вернусь, чтобы видеть продвижение!
